Where to go in NSW on a camping holiday at xmas?

Hi, my partner and I are wanting to go camping this christmas somewhere in NSW (we live in Sydney). We were planning to leave on boxing day, we were just a bit worried that everywhere would be full? We're new to camping so just not sure about these things. Any suggestions? We were hoping to camp somewhere coastal.
