Where to get cool clothes, like NYC PREP?

I know some really cool websites to get cool clothes and all that stuff, but i still need some more. If any of you have watched NYC prep , then you know they have good clothes. Like the city, and the hills too. Does anyone know where to get cool designer clothes for less, or clothes that have a vintage take on them? Pleaseee HELP! I need help! Thanks so much
yes i do shop at urban outfitteres, bedfords, henry bendels, saks stores like that. and yes i have friends on that show too. I'm just giving examples of other stores. and yes i live in the city and know what its like

I can tell you that the clothes that they wear are not easily accessible. They shop at boutiques, Bergdorf Goodman, abroad, Urban Outfitters, Bloomingdale's, Saks, etc. I really like Search & Destroy as a vintage shop in Saint Mark's Place if you live in the city. Basically, It's a lot of cute shoes (a staple of a good outfit) and accessories paired with OK outfits. Try recreating it yourself by going to Forever21 or the sale section at Urban. American Apparel is always a great place to start for basics. xxxx
 
You can always go to Plato's Closet, or a thrift store. Thrift stores are actually the best place to find vintage clothing, and sometimes you may find really rare & cool stuff, and Plato's closet has some "designer" stuff, but you will never find the real designers that the NYC Prep's school kids wear, since they are from real New York designers.
 
I like forever 21 and urban outfitters. Sometimes charlotte russe, pink ice, and alloy also have good clothing.

Also, if you live in a larger city, try vintage shops. It's hard to find clothes sometimes, but some places have really neat clothing.
