There are plenty of family friendly camp sites in France. There is not much point in someone saying site A is better than site B as most people have their own opinion of a good site. There are books available with the camp sites. From past experiance I have found that the weather in Normandy can be changeable. Laterly we used to just go over the border into Spain for the good weather.
