Myself and some friends are looking for some private wilderness areas to camp and kayak around. We are novice kayakers but would like to find an area where we can hike around, kayak and camp without much run in's from other people! Just somewhere to relax and just be in the wilderness for a few days.
Any ideas? We're located in Cleveland and are willing to drive a few hours anywhere, whether that be in Michigan, New York, Pennsylvania, etc. Anywhere in that area that has a nice secluded stretch of wilderness that either you have experienced or heard was ideal for something like this.
