Where to buy frame for canvas art?

I made a painting on a canvas 11 x 14" for a xmas gift. I think it will look more polished if i frame it. I'm planning to look at curry's and micheals but are there other places that will have frames that will work for canvases? I've never framed one before but i assume normal ones wont work due to the thickness of the canvas.

I'm thinking a plain black frame will look best -the painting is of a black car on a white background. The barnwood is also a cool look too... any opinions which style would look best?

I would check hobby lobby also, they have a lot of nice black frames. Also search the web for artist frame shops in your area, you can pick up end stock for really cheap. They might even place the painting inside the frame for you for free.
