So like a year ago, I was stupid and let my friend drive my car. He reared into a sneaky fire hydrant and tore off my rear bumper and left a nasty bump on the right side of the car (area right above the tires) . Some scratches are there, and throws off the nice black color of my brand new car. I'm only 17, and he had given me 350 dollars to help fix the car(I know it isn't enough), but I wanted to ask. If I wanted to fix this personally, how should I go about it. (The labor cost @ Mechanics are outrageous), please thanks.
Need help on where to get a good quality bumper(I heard aftermarket were a piece of ****). & that a paint job can horribly go wrong if done by an amateur. Please help. (I'm not painting the entire car, just a small area around the bumper.)
Thanks!
I'm interested in everyones opinions, so should I get this professionally done? Its been broken for awhile, and I've been riding around with a bumper being held up by duct tape. > > its pretty embarrassing. Thanks!
