Where should my weight be on my golf swing?

with the 7 iron, I try to have the ball a little bit forward of center with weight equally distributed. Of course that's if you're not trying to chip, or trying to hit under the wind. Hope this help.
 
Weight is transferred to the back foot as the thighs, hips, torso and shoulders take the club to the top of the back swing position. When the lead heel is reset and the body parts turn in unison through the point of impact the weight will be shifted to the lead foot and you will finish in balance with the body facing your target.
