Howdy, Dallas. Mineral Wells here. Deep Ellum is fun, but slightly nasty and not really safe. It's on the east side. If you really want fun, hit lower Greenville Ave.
There's not much night life in Dallas since the West End closed. Fort Worth, on the other hand is hopping on the weekends. Even Friday nights at the Stock Yards are crowded and fun. Billy Bobs' would be a great place, but you have to look it up and find out if any "big name" is on stage. Last time I went, we saw Willy Nelson, but I know that Heart has played there, too.
