Where online can I get a good deal on an adult bicycle?

I hate jogging so I figure riding a bicycle is a better idea and I enjoy doing it. I really want to do it to get into better shape. Can anyone suggest places online where I can buy a decent mountain bike or road bike? I don't need the best but want something decent. I would prefer to stay in the $300 range, but could stretch it to $500 if I found a good deal. I want something new, but don't mind getting last years' model that a company may be trying to liquidate. Thank you for your time.
 
For the money Forge makes a good bike. You need to know how to assemble one and tune it. You also need to know how to get the correct size. A bike shop is the place to go it you don't know how to do any of these things.

i would suggest go to bike shop get fitted and see the selection of last or previous years models they'll want to get rid of. then you get the 30day breakin service too.and fit exchg if they offer it.
