Where is your best local(proper )chippy?The best I have ever been to is Hessel road Hull.They use dripping Oh MY G.I can feel my arteries hardening now
 
The best I've been to in the UK (and that's a lot) was in Keswick, Cumbria. My stomach's rumbling thinking about it.
