Where is the Vehicle speed Sensor on a 96 dodge grand caravan?

I have a 96 Dodge grand Caravan 3.8L V6 2wd. My Speedometer Stopped Working and the Transmission shifts funny now. Auto Store and my mechanic said to replace the vehicle speed sensor and all i can find is the the transmission input and output speed sensors. I have also heard that my vehicle may not have a VSS because its 2wd and that i need to replace the trans output speed sensor. What i need to know is do i or do i not have a VSS and if i do were is it and how to find it. If i don't should i replace the trans output or both the input and output just to make sure?
