i mean right now the UK has about 200,000 soldies with more being layed off, like the 500 last week. further military cuts are being planned. your military has been declining for a while? if you notice, all countries that have their military doctrine linked to the USA and fall under the US nuclear umbrella protection suck as Taiwan, S. korea, Japan and Australia( which has 73,000 soldiers. how do they expect to defend themselves. even though ANZUS security pact gives us a reater role in their protection. come on 73,000 is too small.) New Zealand and the states that have a compact of free asscociation with the US, micronesia, marshall islands and palau. if you notice, all the asian states have significant militaries capable of defending themselves. and do not solely rely on the US. i see the UK making a the same mistake as Australia and new zealand like much of Europe, having tiny militaries until its too late and war has broken out. The US military is unmatched even though people deny that, its a fact. with 3.5 million active troops and a goal of having 1000 more planes than the next military in the next few years, vast and growing fleet of armed drones, a navy unmatched by any other by far and an airforce vastly superior. i would expect the UK to be right behind us, not being another country we need to take care of. are you going to reverse this trend?
