Where is the temp sending unit on my 89 chevy celebrity?

there are two almost identical units in my 89 chevy celebrity. there is one on the thermostat housing and one on the head by the #4 cylinder. the one i replaced is the one on the thermostat housing which one is this and what do i start with?
2.5L engine 4 cylinder throttle body injection
