Where is the switch that controls the brightness or dimming of my dashboard...

...ights, ike my clock in my jeep? Whenever I turn my lights on, my cock and dashboard lights dim so low I can't see them. Where is the dimmer switch to brighten them? Aso, my interior lights don't turn on when I open the doors anymore. Any ideas on that?
 
on the Cherokee I had it was on the dash to the left side of the steering wheel. It was a roller type switch that cuold be moved up and down to control the brightness of the dash lights.
 
Interiors lights are set by the little switch on the light over the centre of the cab. The dashboard dimmer should be over where the lights switches are, should be a small recessed knob or sliding switch.
