Where is the shift interlock override on an automatic 1999 Honda Passport?

It is getting harder and harder to shift out of park. I am afraid I will be stranded somewhere. I read that there is a release for the shifter but I can't find it. I did not get a manual when I bought the vehicle used and I can't find a free one for download.
