My car was over heating because the thermostat wasnt working even though it was brand new. So because I needed a car fast I decided to just take out the thermostat. Now it runs fine & doesnt over heat but every morning I still have to add a little less than a gallon of coolant to my car & I know for a fact it is not leaking coolant from anywhere. Does this mean I have a air pocket somewhere? If so does my car have a purge valve & where is it located? A picture would be nice if possible. And if my car doesnt have a purging valve how can I get the air pocket out??? The car is a 1988 Toyota Celica GT convertible automatic 4 cylinder 2.0L. Thanks in advance...
