Where is the location of the heat to ac BLEND DOOR ACTUATOR in a 95 mercury marquice?

I am having a heater problems. I think its the blenddoor actuator.. I heard that it was under the top of the dash. Do I have to pull the dash out?? How is this done the BEST way. How much of the dash has to come out?? I changed the thermostate and I have a little heat, but not like it should be. Any Ideas??? Thanks
