Where is the idle adjustment on a 1998 honda 300ex atv?

My four wheeler runs fine if I stay on the gas a little bit but once it drops to a low rpm it just stalls and I think its the idle but I cant find where its at. I know its on the carb somewhere but not exactly
 
check you fuel filter it might be clogged but most of the time it is located where the trottle cable is hooked up.
 
there should be a flathead idle adjustment screw at the base of the carb ... start it up and turn is about a quarter turn out or in and see if anything happens, if not turn it more, but remember the original setting by marking it with a sharpie
