Every now and again i hear a very loud high pitch squeal that gets louder and goes away if i rev my engine. I figure that this is probably my fan belt and i should either tighten it or replace it and i need to do it ASAP! Where is the fan belt located on my 1997 dodge neon sport? i can only see one belt showing that's like 3/4" in width on the left side of my engine that I cannot really get at. I don't think this is my fan belt anyways but where is it at?!?! also there is no belt diagram under my hood that i can find, which to me seems strange.
