Under my hood, I don't see any drive belt diagrams and I am lost and I can't locate the tensioner. I tried to take out the alternator to see if it would loosen the belt but that didn't work--belt was still tight. One of the small pulleys had a hole that an allen wrench could fit through and I thought that, that was the tensioner and I tried pulling it with my small allen wrench but that didn't work hehe.
Do I need some sort of special tool for this? All I have is a very long flat head screw driver. I don't have any pry bars but I do have 3/8 ratchet and 1/2 inch drive ratchet including sockets.
Can the tensioner be the socket on one of the pulley's?
Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks for your time.
