where is the disc changer 2004 dodge 1500?

my mom recently bought a 2004 dodge 1500, for the life of her she cannot find the disc changer, we are assuming it has one because it has all the cd buttons on the dash but no slot to put in a single cd, so we have checked all the obvious places, are we crazy or is there something were missing
