Where is the civility now?

After the tragic shooting in Arizona the liberal media and the institutional left were quick to lecture the Tea Party about civility. Now that we have helped deliver a defeat to the corrupt public labor unions, the left seems to have forgotten all about their calls for civility.

We don’t ascribe the words of a few radicals to the whole movement; our beef is with the blatant hypocrisy. With no evidence, Rep. Michael Capuano (D-Mass.) was quick to lecture the Tea Party movement on civility after the tragedy in Arizona, but when it comes to the unions he said publicly, "Every once and a while you need to get out on the streets and get a little bloody when necessary."

Upon making a difficult but courageous decision to pass important union reform legislation, Republican Senators and Governor Scott Walker have been receiving death threats.

We aren’t saying that the majority of people who disagree with the TEA party on the issue of public union reform share these thoughts or values. We are simply trying to highlight the incredible double standard that we have to fight every single day.
