Where is the build sheet for 1970 Chevy Nova located?

My father just purchased a 70 Nova SS and it is supposed to be the big block version which is supposed to be a fairly rare car, but we need to find the build sheet to verify this. We have been told to check on the gas tank and under the dash are there any other places that chevy placed these. The car is originally from Oklahoma.

if theres a build sheet its usually in one of those places...IF...best way is to decode the VIN #...try ur friendly GM parts dept
