The air mix motor on mine opens the heater valve under the hood, but it doesn't move any blend door. Where is that controlled from cause mine is stuck?
I know that the doors are inside the heater unit, but that's not what I am asking so let me clarify. What I am looking for is, what opens and closes the mix door? The other doors are opened and closed by the MODE MOTOR on the drivers side. The passenger side has a MODE MOTOR (Air Mix Motor) as well, and it controls the heater valve and supposedly the mix door. I want to know where is the linkage to the mix door? I've looked, and there's nothing that the Air Mix Motor attaches to that would open and close a mix door...only the cable to the heater valve. I want to avoid taking out the heater unit since that is big $ in labor.
