Where is the alternator in an 1989 Mazda MX-6 GT I am trying to find where it is at

in my car.? I am trying to find the location of the alternator because it is bad and I need to replace it but I don't know where it is.
 
Your going to find it on one end of your engine , but most likely your going to have to raise you car up to get to it, it's got to come out from the bottom of the car.
 
if you can locate your water pump pulley, follow the belt and it should lead to your alternator, for safety, always remove the battery, or at least disconnect the terminals, before working on your car.
