where is the 1-2 shift solenoid on a 2003 pontiac montana?

Transmission "sticks" (no Power) at around 25-30 mph,then kicks in... was told to change shift solenoid...Does anyone know where that is located? Can it be done without dropping/lifting engine? Thank You
