Where is a place where they would hire me in Los Angeles, CA?

I am a guy and I turned 16 about 4 months ago, and i need a job fast.
where would be a good place to apply?
i know how to do maintainance work, e.g. washing dishes and cleaning.
 
seeing as how the economy is really bad, i think your chances are slim. im 18 living in LA and i'm having trouble finding a job.
 
Jack in the box, McDonalds, Carls Jr, Whopper, mom and pop owned restaurants. Net work with friends and find out where they hire minors.
