Where in Pride and prejudice does it say that Mr Wickham marries Lydia purely...

...for her money? In Pride and Prejudice where does it say Mr Wickham only marries Lydia for her money to pay off his lengthy gambling debts?

It doesn't say that anywhere, because Lydia didn't have any money to speak of. Mr. Darcy paid Wickham's debts and purchased his commission, on the condition that he marry Lydia. This is disclosed in Mrs. Gardiner's letter to Elizabeth. (Chapter 52, I think.)
 
I don't know if it specifically states that. It's pretty obvious from the fact that he seduces her and doesn't marry her until Darcy steps in. Near the very end of the book, it is noted: "His affection for her soon sunk into indifference; her's lasted a little longer;..."

This was clearly about money on his part, adventure on hers.
