I can't afford a mechanic, or drop the gas tank by myself, so I am just going to cut a little "Trap-Door" on the floor inside the Van, above the gas tank, and hopefully replace it that way. I did the same thing in the hatch back of my 1994 Fire Bird, and it worked fine. I can't see anything when I look under the Van, and I can't see where the gas lines even go into the tank, so I don't know where to cut the hole through the floor? The Van is dead in my drive way so I can't move it, and I have no way of jacking it up either, so cutting the hole is my only option. The tank is at the very back of the Van, and inside the Van in the back (when you lift up the carpet) there is a large bar bolted down to the floor running the width of the Van between the wheel wells, about 3' in from the rear doors. Could someone tell me where the pump is, and where to cut the hole? I'm stranded here with my 3 year old daughter, and need some help ASAP! Thank You very very much! Britneyann.
