Water was found under carpet on front passenger side of my 2004 van, my co-worker has the same issues on both sides. AC and coils, drain pipes are not the culprits. Apparently this is a common problem with Venture Vans and causes tons of electrical problems e.g. door and window lock/switch, fuel pump issues, lights, which are usually mis-diagnosed by mechanics (corrosion of connectors under the carpet never thought of?). Does anyone have a common fix for the water problem?
NOTE: You will not see any water or dampness from just looking at the carpet. You need to actually lift the carpet to get at the foam underlay and see the wire channels.
