Where does a corporation's net income go?

After looking at financial statements, I thought to myself the above question. Well the basis of this question comes from the idea that Gross profit - expenses = Net income... right? yes. So, the expenses include the salaries of the workers. Does that mean that the Net income would just go to the CEOs? Or is it redistributed and reinvested within the company and goes towards bonuses, etc. ? Thanks
