Where do you think would be a better setting for a teen drama novel?

You really didn't give much for us to go on. It would be nice to have a summary, but for drama, New York has a lot of possibilities.

California if you want them to be beach babes/surfer dudes staying there for the summer, you can even do a romance like the notebook which is set by the beach when ally and noah where young (which i think is overdone but theres a reason for that, they often make the best stories), New york for a more urban setting, maybe focusing on poverty and urban life? Los Angeles if they're child stars/rich/children of celebrities ... I think New York would be the most interesting if you can make the most out of it
