Where do you put your hands/ arms while grinding a guy?

so i was at a dance last night and i was grinding one of my guy friends. it was my first time grinding and it was so much fun but i wasn't sure where to put my hands and arms and it was kinda akward. i know how to grind now i just wanna know where to put my hands next time.
and no one say dont be a hoe or anything. and i am old enough to be grinding. i want legit answers
