I reside outside of Sacramento California and our local newspaper is a symbol of liberal wetness, active in undermining and unseating our traditionally conservative local politicians, producing 'news' that fits its agenda, it reads more like an underground paper than legitimate news carrier, subtly weaving opinion into every story.

Sadly, most do not even recognize its bias and it is usually successful at turning public opinion in the direction it chooses - to the left.

Pretty sad to watch.....

How is your newspaper?
I wish I could laugh at my paper, Joseph.

In DEtroit, it's never been anything BUT left. But here, the papers are getting mighty thin; dropping circulation you know. All they give a crap about is the poor plight of the autoworkers; you know, the sad sorry union folks who can make $70,000. a year driving high-lows. That, and the BIG NEWS that Kwame Kilpatrick is a lying thug.
DEtroit wanted a "gangsta" mayor; that's what they got. Why they start whinning now is beyond me.

I live on both coasts... outside of Philly and LA. Needless to say... I do not subscribe to either liberal rag.

The SAME as Yours- but with the Opposite bias. Here, outside of Phoenix, AZ- I get & read the Arizona Republic, every day. It's a prime example of extreme, Conservative dryness- bound & determined to cheer on any Values that were popular around the time that Dinosaurs roamed the Earth! One of these "Ancient Creatures" that it is currently endorcing- happens to be the Republican Nominee from this State, John McCain. Sadly, this Newspaper has NO CLUE of its Biasedness- & hawks itself as the "Moderate Voice" of the People of Arizona... Judging from the way our Cactus' BRISTLE at that Pronouncement, I sense that I am not the ONLY life form that doesn't agree with this Newspaper. BUT, the Comics are funny- & the Editorials even MORE so... So I get the "Rag" anyway, cuz it's GOOD for the Laugh. :)

I live in Tampa, Florida.

Honestly I couldnt really give my paper a good or bad rating, because I havent picked one up in...I dont know.....6 years.

Any news I get in from the internet, sorry about your paper, maybe you should get a degree in journalism and work there to turn things around!

I live in Oregon and our little news paper is sorely lacking as is our local news chanel. They basically leave it up to the "larger" papers and news programs to give any real news. I do miss that about larger cities.

I live in Paradise Township, Nevada which is a suburb of Las Vegas. Or major paper is the Las Vegas Review-Journal with a four page section of the Las Vegas Sun folded within. I only read the print edition on Sundays. It's editorial policy is conservative.
