where do you find the cupholders in a 97 mercury sable?

I was told that it is located where the third front seat is but i cannot find the cup holders!!!
i mean not to buy them but i looked it up on google and they told me that i have cup holders and that the middle seat would pop out into a cupholder but i cant find out how to pop the seat open!!!
