Where do people ride their quads and dirt bikes?

I'm getting a quad (hopefully) soon and I was wondering where people ride? Im pretty sure it's illegal to ride on somewhere that's not your property but where do people ride? I've seen videos of people just riding everywhere.

Where I would ride:
I have this trail in the woods behind my house and it leads to my friend's house. My friend has a simple 0 shape track that's pretty decent. It extends further into different tracks but that's not done yet.

I live in NJ and I was wondering where you guys ride your quads and dirt bikes?
 
This is why i love living in the 'bush'.

I pull my quad out of the garage, start it up, and head off into the woods, some land is private property around me, but its clearly marked.
I could ride for hours maybe days around here.

Everywhere! I used to go through the hills and through everywhere. I had a dirtbike and my buddies had quads. Anyone tried to chase me I'd just have to pop off into the woods and they wouldn't catch me. The benefit of a dirtbike over a quad is you can squeeze through anything with it and it was faster.

If you get caught though you're screwed!
