Where do people get the electronics which they sell on Ebay?

I was wondering how people got iPods, game systems, TVs, computers, etc. for so cheap so that they can resell on Ebay and make profit. I want to start a business like this.

I don't want to sell eBooks and do online surveys to get products so please don't suggest this. Thanks for your answers!
