So I have just got flash CS4 and, to be honest I don't really know where to start to learn it properly.
I know a few basics already from college and helping a friend out with her college work for it, but I think that might be because I knew exactly where to start and what I was after.
I really want to learn it properly. I hope to be able to use and understand the majority of features and tools it has, including the action script code it has as well.
I know a few basics already, I made a little man walk across the stage, not perfectly, but good enough for a first try, I know how to make a small quiz, by using buttons to jump to specific frames using the "goto and play" and "goto and stop" and the "stop;" commands, however that's all i really know.
What I would like to do eventually, after learning the skills, is to create my own games, make my own animation videos (possibly a cartoon like looney tunes, obviously probably not as good) and see what is possible after that, through experience and knowledge.
Where would I start, I'm kind of hoping some sort of guide, that starts of pretty basic and shows how to make examples in step-by-step guides, and then keeping the same format, each example getting gradually more advanced. Kind of what they do in schools and college's.
