Where do I put a sim on the samsung sch-a850?

Someone brought to the Philippines her old samsung sch-a850. She is registered at Verizon wireless and now has a replacement phone on her account. She is giving away her old cellphone unit but I don't know where to put the SIM into. Where do I put a SIM into a Samsung SCH-A850?
 
With a Samsung I believe you take the battery out and there's a little slot like NOT under the battery but like at the part at the back of the screen hope that helps
