Where do I get started in making a book for charity?

I dont know if I posted this in the right section so please bear with me. I am a amateur photographer and I've always wanted to go to a children's hospital and take pictures, compile them into a book and sell them-giving all money to the hospital and give the parents pictures of them & their child. I dont have any money myself to get something like this started so where would I start? Where are books made?
