where do i find newspaper archives for kent county michigan?

I have an article with no heading, no date, nothing really other than a tragic family story. It mentions they lived outside of Alto, Michigan and the kids were sent into the city (Alto? Grand Rapids?) I think the article may have come form the Grand Rapids Herald or Times possibly maybe something entirely different. I believe the article was written late 1930's to early 1940's. Probably close to 1938-1942
