where do all the "OPEN" questions go once they leave that small window shown below ?

Sometimes I ask that a question to go into current events or news and events and yahoo puts it into open questions where it just seems to get lost after about a half hour ? so just where does it go to ?
Now they have gone and done it again HELP!!!
