You will go to Lackland AFB which is in San Antonio, Texas for basic. Also, you will join active duty airmen in your tech school. After completion of tech school you will then go back home to your nearest station.

Yes everyone in the AF goes to Lackland and the training is not separate There were active, reserve and guard in my flight in basic.
