Where did these zip files come from

Forgive me if this question has been addressed and I may have overlooked it, but here is my problem. When I log online and my LimeWire starts up, it shows on the completed file anywhere from 40 to 200 zip files that seem to have been downloaded. I haven't downloaded any zip files but they are there on my completed file. I get rid of them simply by going to explore and deleting them there, then restarting LimeWire. But the next time i log onto the internet and start LimeWire, there are a bunch more new zipfiles loaded there. How are they getting there?
 
This thread might give you some idea ... Seems like you need to install and run effective anti virus sofrware and anti spyware, and give your comuter a thorough clean out, in respect to spy ware and viruses, without delay
