M M M T Guest Apr 21, 2009 #2 The fish is native to China and was most likely introduced to USA waters by someone dumping a pair of them to get rid of them. This is one nasty fish! I saw a feature on one of the nature channels about it and the threat that it will eradicate native species is very real.
