Where did the Jeep 4.0 go?

I was looking at a new Jeep Wrangler to replace my 2005 model and was shocked to find that they no longer offer the reliable 4.0 i6. All they offer now is a piece of crap 3.8 v6. Jeep just lost me as a customer now as I bought a Silverado instead, why do auto companies alway have to ruin a good thing.
 
Its called change man. The V6 isnt a bad motor. You should test drive one and see. They have to change to keep up with current trends, not to mention they have new ownership now. The wrangler changed alot more than just the motor in case you were too ignorant to notice.
 
because obama said the 4.0 put out too much emissions. Same reason they discontinued the 4.3 when they replaced the s10s with the colorados. That 5 cylinder is a piece of shit compared to the 4.3. Anything smaller than a 6 cylinder and 4 liters don't belong in a truck.
 
You would not get rid of a good car. Therefore all the can make now is chit. It is part of these new times where everything is suppose to be thrown away. It is called commercialism. I keeo my 64 Ford Fairlane, and my 70 Ford F-100 because to rebuild the entire engine is only going to cost me about $700. I am glad to hear that you made some lobbyist such a big favor by trading off your good vehicle for a piece of crap. The government will be so proud of you, it will also give a good reason for the US to give the 3rd world countries the billions they have been asking for.
