western Europe,especially Italy? It's also very interesting that those big cathedrals don't get a lot of people attending them & filling them up on a regular basis so that they could have their spiritual wants & needs met.
It seems like they're really nothing more than big museums.
I'm aware of the fact that many of those cathedrals were built during medieval times,and even a little later than that.
Wasn't that a waste of the Catholic church's time & money to do something like that back then,since many people even back then probably didn't attend those cathedrals on a regular basis so they could enjoy the fellowship of other believers on a regular basis?
