enthusiasts and Pontiac fans)? 1. The styling was really weak, nothing about it screamed muscle car.
2. You can't just slap on a Pontiac grill, a dual scooped hood (2005-2006), tail lights, and a 400 HP LS2 in a Monaro and call it a GTO. It might have gone better if they called it anything but the GTO. i.e (GX8, Predator, G9, etc)

3. If your going to wait 30 years to bring a muscle car back to life your going to have to do the retro thing. You are invoking something from the past so you have to bring back something that is reminiscent of the past. Ford didn't have to do this because they never stopped making the mustang.

What are some of your reasons why you think the GTO flopped?
