I have a 1985 Toyota Corolla. It runs pretty well, except for it frequently gives me cold starts everyday, and sometimes its really slow to accelerate, especially if i'm doing highway driving. Ive noticed with lower speeds it does quite well, and it only has 118,000 miles on it. I barely drive my car, probably less than 50 miles a month unless i decide to go to LA (60mi away). And my mom has gotten me a new engine a year ago, but i'm unsure if it was really needed.
Anyways, I was wondering where is a good place I can get a tune-up. So they can tell me what, if anything is wrong with my car, and change the plugs, and tell me if I need new tires, and test my computer etc. And tell me if i need a oil change or need water or different fluids? Is that even a tune-up? Something fairly priced as well. lol anyways, all answers would be greatly appreciated.
Btw, i dont know of any mechanics or shops anywhere near where I live (Riverside, CA).
Do you think the Midas Touch Visual Courtesy Check is good? It consists of the major systems and components check, under the hood and under the vehicle inspections, tire and fluid inspections. Do you think they'll do a good job or bullsh*t me? Thanks.
