Where could I find a photography internship near me?

I live in Wethersfield and I am hoping to find a photography internship for this coming year. Does anyone know if there are any internships in photography in Hartford, Wethersfield, Rocky Hill? Really anywhere close to Wethersfield as driving is not a problem.
 
Check with your photo department head. They usually have a list of photographers and studios where you can intern as part of your school curriculum.

I guess you can go out and canvas your area and look for someone willing to accept interns from your school and go from there
